GREATER ONE ( Bro. Sunderraj )
Holy Bible describes God’s relationship with us in three ways. As believers we are not alone helpless, hopeless, depressed and despondent.
God is for you.
Take courage God is for you. if God is for us who can be against us (Romans 8:31). When God is for you what can man do unto you (Psalm 118:6). All through the Bible we see how God was for the children of Israel and brought them out of bondage from Egypt with mighty signs, wonders and miracles to a place of blessing.
God is with you.
Be strong God is with you. God will be with you always even unto the end of the age (Matthew 28:20). God was with Abraham, Issac and Jacob and blessed them. God was with Joseph in the pit, in the prison, in pain and also in the Palace. God was with Daniel in the lion’s den. God was with Shadrach, Meshach, Abednego in the fiery furnace. God has promised to be with you even when you go through valley of death experience (Psalm 23:4).God is always with you in your disappointment, in your trouble, in your pain and in your sickness to bring you to the place of victory. What a promise we have from God in Psalm 91:15 He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him. Psalm 91:14 I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.
God is in you.
Be still and know God is in you. Finally God is not only for you, God is not only with you. Bible speaks of higher relationship that God dwells inside of you. Know ye not that ye are the temple of God and the Spirit of God dwells in you (1 Cor. 3.16). My Father will love him and We will make Our home in him (John 14:23). You have become a dwelling place of God. In other words you have become God’s address.
Take hold of these truths. In life when you come across difficult situations and circumstances, you can walk with confidence and your head lifted high as a child of a Great King.
Take courage, Be strong, Be still and know. Greater is He that is in you, than he that’s in the world (1John 4:4).

Signs before Jesus coming ( Mrs Vanitha Sunderraj )
In Matthew 24:3 the disciples asked Jesus what will be the sign of Jesus coming and of the end of the age? The word ‘sign’ used in this verse is translated from the Greek word used to describe sign posts which helps travellers to take the right way to reach their destination safely without getting lost. They also asked the signs for the end of the age.
The church age we are living will have to come to an end and the next age will be seven years of tribulation.
Jesus gave specific predictions of end time signs in Matthew 24:4-14. Mark 13: 5-13
Luke 21: 8-19.
In all these gospels, we see the following signs would escalate in intensity:
Widespread deceptions, famines, wars, rumours of wars, persecution of Christians, imprisonment of believers, false prophets, pestilences, unknown diseases, signs in the heavens, earthquakes, economic instability, ethnic conflicts, the love of many will grow cold.
Matthew 24:4 Jesus said, ‘take heed that no man deceive you.’ Take heed means give full attention. Jesus said that first sign will be deception. The word ‘deceive’ used in this verse in Greek means ‘wander off course’. It could mean an individual or a nation or number of nations that will wander off from moral positions they once held. Some one who once walked in a solid moral position rooted in the word, who then gradually drifted away. The spirit of this world is working furiously to eliminate all remnants of a godly foundation from our society and getting ready for Antichrist rule.
In Isaiah 5:20 says, ‘Woe to those who call evil for good and good for evil. Who substitute darkness for light and light for darkness’.
In Matthew 24:8 Jesus said these are beginning of sorrows which, in Greek describes the birth pains. The intensity of the signs will increase in frequency before the end of the age.
Matthew 24:12 says ‘because the iniquity shall abound the love of many shall wax cold’.
Iniquity in Greek describes ‘lawlessness’. In the last days the lawlessness will escalate around the world. World wide rejection of God.
Many people including Christians will loose their sensitivity to the guidance of the Holy Spirit which will affect their view of right and wrong. When sin is tolerated long time, they will loose the ability to feel conviction in that area and eventually become cold
in the love for God, and for other people.
Matthew 24:13 ‘But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.’ We need to live a life pleasing to God during this difficult time we are living, and looking forward to his coming.
In Matthew 24:14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come. This is the final sign before his coming to take his church.
God is not willing any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. 2 Peter 3:9 He is waiting for that last person to respond to the gospel.
Friends, we are privileged to live in this world during this time where we see the signs of His coming and the prophesies are being fulfilled. We need to be prepared to meet Jesus anytime and also it is the responsibility of every believer to be his witnesses and spread the gospel message of what Jesus has done for us.
